- How It Works
It is well known that remote and isolated territories experience many issues when it comes to last mile deliveries. We have a solution: We use 180 kg capacity drones that can fly over a 200-kilometer distance.
The way the service works is simple: Drop your parcel off at one of our service points and the next day it will reach its destination. Our first target territories are the villages on the Lower North Shore.
How It Works?
1. Prepare your parcel
Prepare your parcel yourself or order your parcel from one of our participating merchants.
2. Visit one of our service points
Our network allows us to take possession, handle and deliver your parcel.
3. Track your parcel
A tracking system that allows you to track your parcel at all times.
4. Reception
Quick and reliable service. We do it all!
Our Supply Chain
- Drones Express Inc. takes possession of all parcels and mail from its receiving/shipping terminal in Sept-Îles;
- Parcels and mail are transported from Sept-Îles to Kegaska;
- Drones are loaded at the Kegaska terminal;
- Parcels and mail are delivered 6 days a week to the Lower North Shore villages;
- Tracking service.
The reverse system applies for parcels shipped from the Lower North Shore. The parcel is taken over by Drones Express Inc. from the originating village to Sept-Îles or Blanc-Sablon. (“First mile delivery”)
